While I hold a degree in English, and about half an MA in English Literature, I'm best known these days for my canning, soap making, goat herding, and chicken raising skills.
After leaving the advertising world to focus on my writing full time, I moved to a small farm in the Pacific Northwest where I keep 7 goats, 11 chickens, 5 ducks, 2 dogs, 2 cats, twins Thing One and Thing Two, Eldest and Mr. Encyclopedia Man.
Life in my "Little Log House on the Prairie" is never dull, and I've found the intersection of pasture and prose a perfect fit.
When I'm not writing, or herding children and chickens, I spend my time cooking, reading, canning, reading, making goat's milk soap, reading, and then doing some more reading. I also gather fresh eggs and grow luscious fresh fruits and veggies.
I am pleased to be represented by Jodi Reamer at Writer’s House.
